The smoking ban implemented in the Republic of Ireland in March 2004 and subsequently Scotland in March 2006 has proven that awnings are an ideal way to provide a sheltered area for smokers and comply with the new legislation. An Appeal Awning represents a stylish and cost effective solution for your business, making sure you can take care of all your customers, including the smokers among them!
To help illuminate the area in the evenings and winter months, integral halogen lighting options are available. The awning lights are operated with a remote control switch, which can be mounted behind the bar, or as required. Heating options are also available, with Appeal's electric, infrared system providing a much more practical solution to warming the area than traditional gas heaters. Not only is infrared heating more environmentally friendly (warming any object the infrared light hits, rather than just the air beneath the awning), but it is also cheaper to run and does not require the regular replacement of gas bottles. As with Appeal's lighting options, the heaters are remotely controlled by a switch, which can be located behind the bar, or as required.
